A colourful history has created the established restaurant and Mamma’s has gone from strength to strength from its opening in 1985 as Scotland’s first pizza delivering restaurant, to winning the Best Independent Pizza Award in 2000-2001.
Mamma’s since 1985….
Opened in 1985 by Star Wars Episode IV Gold Leader, Angus MacInnes, Mamma’s is currently run by a husband and wife team, Paul and Cait, who met whilst working in Mamma’s in 1995. Theirs is not the only romance to have blossomed here, as there have been no less than five Mamma’s marriages. As you can imagine, a very friendly, relaxed atmosphere is created.
The pizza here is handmade and it is stone baked to add a truly unique flavour, with over 40 toppings to choose from you are sure to have a pizza made specifically to your requirements.
In addition to pizza we have Chilli, Burgers and Nachos and a great selection of starters. We have introduced an amazing South American dish called Steak on the Stone which is a very hot lava stone served with fillet steak. You can cook each mouth-watering piece of fillet steak exactly as you wish. We know customers love choice, so we can offer take-away in addition to our indoor and outdoor dining areas.
